Government Shutdown Affecting Religious Groups

Before I read this post I had not thought about how the government shut down was affecting religious groups. But this article in the huffington post spells it out. People are having to reschedule weddings that they had planned at places that are closed. There was a church bus accident that was not investigated because “all of its highway investigators were furloughed.” And “The government shutdown also threatens to reduce or shutter charitable services operated by faith-based groups that use federal funds.” That’s not so good. I hope this whole thing gets figured out.
